Anjan Sinha is a New Delhi–based vocalist, composer, and live performer with a strong grounding in Hindustani Classical Music and over a decade of active performance experience. Deeply rooted in classical tradition while embracing contemporary musical expression, Anjan represents a balanced blend of discipline, creativity, and versatility.

He is a dedicated disciple of Shri Nadeem Khan ji of the Rampur–Sahaswan Gharana, one of the most respected gharanas in Hindustani classical music. Under this rigorous training, Anjan developed a strong command over classical vocal techniques, raga aesthetics, layakari, and expressive presentation. He has also completed his graduation degree in Hindustani Classical Vocal Music, further strengthening his academic and practical understanding of Indian classical music.

During his academic years, Anjan consistently proved his excellence by winning several national-level college music competitions, where he performed against some of the finest emerging talents from across the country. His artistry has been acknowledged and blessed by legendary figures such as Saroj Khan (late) and Ismail Darbar, marking important milestones in his musical journey.

In addition to his classical vocal background, Anjan has expanded his musical skill set by earning certifications from Trinity College London in nylon-string guitar and piano. This multi-instrumental training allows him to approach music composition and performance with a broader harmonic and melodic perspective, enriching both his studio work and live performances.

As a composer and singer, Anjan has released original Hindi and Bengali songs across all major digital streaming platforms and YouTube. His work includes collaborations and releases associated with leading music labels such as Shemaroo Music, reflecting his growing presence in the commercial and independent music space.

Anjan has also represented India on an international platform as a proud contributor to the World Book of Records London, where he was part of the world’s largest Bollywood choir—a globally recognized achievement celebrating the scale and unity of Indian music.

For the past 12 years, Anjan has been actively performing live with his band Malhaar, delivering engaging and high-energy performances at corporate events, cultural festivals, concerts, and destination shows across India and abroad. Known for their strong melodic sensibility and rhythmic vitality, Anjan and his band continue to connect with audiences of all ages, creating memorable musical experiences that seamlessly blend classical influence with popular and contemporary sounds.
